FCL Shipping - Full Container Load
What is FCL?
Sea freight shipping is a longstanding reliable method of transporting large volume goods in different sizes. One of these is called Full Container Load shipping (FCL) when means that a shipment take the whole space of a container without needing to share the container with other shippers. In short, for an FCL cargo, all the goods in a container belong to one party.

How does FCL work?
There is usually six steps involved when FCL shipping:
You'll need to select which company to use to ship your Full Container Load
The ocean freight company will arrange for the collection of the shipment
The shipment is sent to the port for customs clearance
The items are loaded into a container. As this is FCL (Full Container Load) you’ll have your own container and not share with any other shipper.
Once the container arrives at the destination country, it'll undergo another customs clearance before being released.
The shipped items are then finally delivered.
